Personality: 
    Akantha is a very old nymph and generally fairly wise when it comes to how things worked in her world. However, she's completely in the lacking when it comes to just about anything else. Completely fascinated by almost anything, she's definitely one who's very easily impressed. With Akantha's love for history it's no surprise that she wants to learn as much as it as possible. This leads her to ask just about anyone for their life story and what it was like where they're from. She yearns for knowledge and is very persistent in her strives for it, which can be sort of annoying to others at times. Although she doesn't like humans, she loves other creatures. This love ranges from animals to monsters and beyond. She's very friendly and will attempt to befriend anyone who she speaks to. Akantha has an intense passion for all things morbid, so it's not surprising that her sense of humour is so dark and dry. She has got an extraordinary memory and will never forget if you hurt her, holding a grudge for as long as she lives. However, she tries her best to focus on the good things in others. It doesn't take much to annoy or aggravate Akantha, and when she's angry she becomes much too flustered to speak or think coherently- so she usually just stutters out insults and thrashes herself about in a spastic manner. 
History: 
    Akantha was born and raised just like any other Lampade, nothing really special ever happened to her. She lived in Hades, accompanied Hecate, and led men astray and drove them insane just like all the others did. She never really questioned anything until another Lampade returned from her nightly walks and told everyone about a massive mansion full of monsters. She was completely breath taken by the thoughts of interacting and living with other creatures. However, sneaking out of Hades isn’t something one can do easily, especially when they’re a Lampade. Akantha attempted to sneak away during her walks a few times but she could never seem to find it before she got caught by her peers or by Hecate herself.  However one early morning when she was just finishing her shift she took the opportunity to race down a cave system. She was traversing through the thin tunnels for almost two weeks, drinking water from the ground and gobbling up any bugs that happened to crawl by. Finally she came to the end of the tunnel which thankfully opened up into the forest. After Akantha made it out of the caves it was only a day or two until she stumbled upon the Despiral Lake and finally made it to Hiems.

Roleplay Sample: Akantha kneeled on the floor by her bed, her arm underneath it waving back and forth wildly. Suddenly her hand hit something, quickly she grabbed it and yanked it from beneath the bed. She wiped the dust off of the large, black cardboard box and gently removed the lid. A childish smile spread across her face as she looked down at her collection of various bones. Some might find it odd but Akantha never cared, she loved them all and now she finally had somewhere to put them. Gently, she picked up each bone and arranged them with precision inside her new glass cabinet. This task would have taken anyone a maximum of half an hour but with Akantha's need for perfection it was nearly an hour before she was happy with it.
